    Sociology Peer Advisors

There are approximately 10 trained Sociology Peer Advisors available on a drop-in basis during the academic year (not in the summer) to advise students regarding the sociology major requirements, sociology courses, administrative procedures, and other relevant matters. They hold office hours outside 424 Barrows; and their hours are posted outside 426 Barrows.

    Faculty Undergraduate Advisor

In addition to the undergraduate advisors, there is a faculty member appointed each year who is available to talk with students about their education in sociology and graduate school opportunities. This faculty member is also responsible for evaluating selected transfer coursework. For Fall 2009-Spring 2010 Stephen Vaisey is the Faculty Undergraduate Advisor. If you wish to meet with the Faculty Undergraduate Advisor, please see one of the Undergraduate Advisors to arrange for an appointment with him.
