Calendar & Deadlines
STUDENTS -- Please refer to our GRADUATION CHECKLIST to make sure you're ready for graduation!
March 4th - The Exit Survey and Commencement Registration Form are available, and must be completed online before students may obtain commencement tickets.
March 15th - Deadline for graduates to complete the Exit Survey and Commencement Registration Form on the Sociology website.
Early April - Date TBD - Grad Finale is April 3-6, on lower Sproul Plaza. The Grad Finale is a free resource festival for all graduates. You can pick up your cap and gown and get helpful information for your graduation.
April 15-19 - This is the week graduates come in to 410 Barrows to get their allotted tickets for their guests during this one-week sale period only! Tickets are NOT GUARANTEED AFTER THIS TIME, and will sell out.
April 25 - Extra Ticket Sale Day. Limited extra tickets, beyond the initial allotment, may be available to those in line at 10 a.m. sharp on Thursday, April 26, outside of 410 Barrows Hall. Click here for more information.
April 19 - Undergraduate commencement speech proposal due in 428 Barrows, if interested. See here for more information.
May - Pick up cap and gown at ASUC. No reservations needed. For more information, including how to order announcements, click here.
May 6 - Deadline to contact Rebecca Chavez at rebeccaisme@berkeley.edu or (510) 642-4766 to make arrangements for guests requiring wheelchair or other special seating. For more information, see here.
May 18 - Commencement Convocation is a university-wide event celebrating the graduation of the Class of 2013. All graduating seniors (regardless of their major) are welcome to attend this event. It will be held on Saturday, May 18 10:00 am in Memorial Stadium. This is a ticketed event. For ticket and additional information, please visit http://commencement.berkeley.edu.
May 20 - Commecement Day! All graduates should arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. to line up in the processional. Doors to Zellerbach will open to guests at 8:00 a.m. and seating is first-come, first-serve.
