Ontario Review. The Spring/Summer 1998 issue contains a short story by up-and-coming author Kathleen Crowley. Titled "St. Anthony's," the story, as all fictional accounts, is a lie. Yet this one adds up to an intriguing set of truths, well worth a read.
Soundstone. This site is perfect for finding music that came out just as CDs replaced LPs. Many of the most popular (read: well-funded) LPs were put out on CD immediately, and sold in stores. Other artists, such as Flash and The Pan, had to wait longer. Although you may not find these artists in stores, you can find them (and many others) on the web. The cite above is a prime source for such material. One weakness is at last check I could not find a single web source for spoken word CDs with important speeches by Malcolm X or Martin Luther King, Jr. Perhaps that will be added soon.
WebDelSol. This experientially complex site offers a broad range of exciting artistic works. The content includes several chapters from Christian Abouzeid's gripping novel, Poverty. I especially enjoyed the musical accompaniment that is attached to the site.
