Q: Where can I get information about dining and lodging?
A: For information on restaurants and hotels in the Berkeley area, please visit the Visitor Services Website.

Q: Is there special parking available for this event?
A: No. Please see here for information regarding parking on/near campus.

Q: Are tickets required?
A: Yes. Graduating seniors who registered for commencement may obtain 2 free tickets and purchase additional tickets at Cal Performances.

Q: What if I need a wheelchair or special needs seating?
A: Please arrive at Zellerbach Hall by 8am on Commencement day, to arrange seating with Zellerbach Hall Staff. 

Q: Will there be a professional photographer?
A: Yes. More information will be forthcoming. 

Q: May I move into the aisles/up front to take my student's picture as he/she walks across the stage?
A: For safety reasons, the aisles must remain clear. We ask that guests stay in their seats during the entire ceremony. Please remember that each graduate will have his or her picture taken by our professional photographer after they walk across the stage. We encourage families to take pictures before and after the ceremony, and from their seats.

Q: What time do doors open?
A: Doors open at 8:00 a.m.

Q: Is there reserved seating?
A: No. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you require special needs seating, please arrive at 8am to make arrangements with Zellerbach Hall staff. 

Q: Will refreshments be provided at the reception?
A: Yes, light refreshments will be provided after the graduation ceremony.
