Recent Berkeley Sociology graduate, Katy Fox-Hodess, wins two awards from the ASA Labor Section.

Fox-Hodess, now a lecturer at the University of Sheffield, won the Best Article award for her paper: "Re-)Locating the Local and National in the Global: Multi-Scalar Political Alignment in Transnational European Dockworker Union Campaigns," which was published in the British Journal of Industrial Relations in 2017.
 
She is also co-winner of the Best Graduate Student Paper award for her paper entitled  "Worker Power, Trade Union Strategy and International Connections: A Cross-National Comparison of Dockworker Unionism in Latin America."
