Aja Antoine-Jones is a doctoral student in the Department of Sociology at the University of California, Berkeley. Her current research examines the relationship between residential segregation and infectious mortality in the early twentieth century U.S. She has received fellowships from UC-Berkeley, Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, Ford Foundation, and National Science Foundation (GRFP). Aja holds a BA from Brandeis University.
