The Sociology Department sponsors three undergraduate student organizations. Student officers in these organizations work hard to offer programs and events designed to build community in the department and connect Sociology undergrads with faculty, grad students, and other members of the Berkeley community. The Undergraduate Advisors for the department hold an annual Student Leadership Retreat at which the officers of these student organizations receive training in department policies and procedures as well as learn leadership skills to help the navigate the challenges of student group organizing.
