Comparative-Historical Sociology, Political Sociology, Cultural Sociology, Theory, Visual Culture

I am a PhD candidate in Sociology with a Designated Emphasis in Critical Theory. I study fascism and authoritarianism in Italy, Spain, and Argentina, examining cultural policy and state patronage. My previous project compared the radicalization of right-wing and left-wing movements in the United States during the 1960s and 1970s. The article stemming from this project was published in Critical Sociology. Prior to graduate school, I worked in the New York art world. You can find links to some of my art writing below.
