Sociology Undergraduate Advisers
There are two undergraduate advisers in the Department of Sociology that you can speak with - Cristina Rojas and Seng Saelee. You are welcome to see either adviser.
1. Sociology Information Session
Enrollment for Fall Junior Transfer Admits begins July 14, 2026.
New Fall Transfer Admits must attend one of the Sociology Information Sessions prior to making an appointment.
Our Sociology Information Sessions for FALL 2026 Transfer students will begin JUNE 17, 2026 via Zoom.

2. Schedule a Virtual Appointment
After attending a Sociology Information Session, feel free to schedule an individual appointment with a Sociology advisor.
Appointments are generally offered via Zoom.

College of Letters and Science Advisers
In addition to Sociology major requirements, you must also complete requirements for the College of Letters and Science to earn your degree. The requirements are often partially completed with IGETC or Cal-GETC. It is suggested you meet with a College of Letters and Science Adviser at least once per academic year. The College of Letters and Science liaisons for Sociology are Marisol & Scherane.
