I am a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology with a Designated Emphasis in Critical Theory. I study fascism and authoritarianism in Italy, Spain, and Argentina, examining cultural policy and state patronage of avant-garde art. My previous project compared the radicalization of right-wing and left-wing movements in the United States during the late 1960s and 1970s.
