Janna Z. Huang (she/her) is a PhD Candidate in Sociology at the University of California – Berkeley. Her research explores the intersections of organizational change and climate change. Leveraging a mixed methods approach across event history analysis, in-depth interviews, and quantitative analysis, her three chapter dissertation examines 1) the emergence of sustainability as an institutional logic, 2) how new organizational structures emerge around the disclosure of climate information, and 3) the organizational lives of sustainability professionals in the workplace.
