Sociology Peer Advisors are trained to answer general questions regarding the Sociology major requirements, declaring the major, Sociology courses, course registration, and events in the department. If you have an interest in gaining valuable advising skills while helping other Sociology students, please consider applying for the Sociology Peer Advisor position. Recruitment and training of Sociology Peer Advisors is done annually. We require a 2 semester commitment to the program (excluding the summer and winter breaks). Students may choose to receive either a department award/stipend or academic credit for their participation.
For the 2023-2024, there will be no peer adviser program. Please check back for updates.
