□ Verify that your Expected Graduation Term is correct
Please verify that the Expected Graduation Term is correct by checking Cal Central. In the Personal Summary section of Cal Central, Spring 2022 (or Summer 2022 if you are graduating that term) will be listed under ‘Expected Graduation.’
□ Check your Academic Progress Report on Cal Central to confirm you will finish University, College of Letters and Science and Department of Sociology requirements.

□ Complete the Sociology Department Exit Survey to register for the 2022 Sociology commencement.
The Sociology Exit Survey will be open from March 1-31,2022. Please contribute your input, ideas and experience to further develop the major program for those coming after you.

□ Deadline to apply for Departmental Citation: April 15th
The Departmental Citation is an award recognizing undergraduate excellence in the UC Berkeley Sociology Department. Each year we select one graduating senior to receive this award for his/her outstanding accomplishments in sociology. Application be available at a later date.
□ Deadline to apply to be the Undergraduate Student Speaker: April 22nd
Each year we select one student to present the Sociology Undergraduate Address during the ceremony. Any graduating senior in Sociology may apply to be the speaker. If interested, you should email a draft (more than an outline) of your proposed speech to Cristina Rojas at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, April 22nd. The speech should be no longer than 3-4 minutes. The Sociology Department reviews the proposals and makes the final selection.
□ Saturday, May 14th- Campus wide Commencement Class of 2022 at 10am
□ Sunday, May 15th- Sociology Commencement at 9am
□ Keep your address, phone, and email information current via Cal Central for at least 4 months after leaving Cal, in case the university needs to contact you about the processing of your degree.
□ Check your unofficial transcript on Cal Central to make sure you've graduated!
□ Diplomas for Spring 2022 graduates
Diplomas will be automatically mailed approximately 4 months after graduation to your address on Cal Central. There is no fee. For more information, see http://registrar.berkeley.edu/Registrar/diploma_current.html
